News of Pema

Pema spent the winter months teaching at Gampo Abbey in Nova Scotia. She has been fortunate to have remained safe and healthy throughout the pandemic, and she continues to hope the same for each of you.

In May, Pema was joined by Tim Olmsted to present her final teachings (after nearly 25 years!) at Omega Institute. The topic was tonglen meditation, or “taking and giving”. Pema shared her wisdom on how to use the most difficult parts of our lives as stepping stones to open up and connect with the world.

Pema will be giving an online talk at Mangala Shri Bhuti on July 17th along with her teacher, Dzigar Kontrul Rinpoche. The talk will be available for viewing through August 17th.
