Fred Rogers’ TV show, “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood”, was born from his vision of helping children know that they are loved. If adults create a kind and compassionate “neighborhood” where children grow up feeling safe and loved, then they in turn become kinder and more compassionate people.
