space EditorEditor’s note: We often fail to extend kindness to others not because we are unwilling, but because we lack the courage to do so. This lack of courage may stem from our concern that by offering kindness to others, we will "offend" or "patronize" them. As Mother Teresa said so beautifully, "I prefer you to make mistakes in kindness than work miracles in unkindness." Kindness, when offered with the right spirit, is never a mistake. So go forth and be bold in kindness! –Ameeta space
